Obituary for Michael A. Leibold

Michael A.  Leibold
Michael A. Leibold, 63, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 in his residence. He was the husband of Brenda A. Leibold.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of Lloyd L. Leibold, Lauredale and the late Nancy J. (Kleffel) Leibold. Michael worked as a welder for Dana Corporation. He was a life-long member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale. Michael was a life member of the NRA; Reading Motorcycle Club; and the AMA. He was also a member of the Hamburg Game Association; Shartlesville Fish and Game Association; and the Goodwill Beneficial Association, Hyde Park. Michael enjoyed hunting, trapshooting, and motorcycling. He loved the outdoors - both the mountains and beaches; the Philadelphia Eagles and Reading Phillies; and animals, especially his cat Buster. Michael was a great story teller and fun to be around.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are two brothers: Brian L. Leibold, and his wife Cheryl, Deer Lake; and Rick L. Leibold, and his wife Meg, Oxford; three nephews: Clay, Clint, and Curt; four nieces: Brittanie, Aurora, Haley, and Caroline; and great nephews and niece: Colton, Cooper and Crawford. Michael is also survived by his mother-in-law: Lillian Seidel, Hamburg.
Services will be held on Thursday at 12:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Thursday 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be sent to Calvary Lutheran Church, 1009 Elizabeth Avenue, Laureldale, PA 19605.
