Obituary for Doris M. Miller (Yoder)

Doris M. Miller, 82, of Brecknock Twp., died Friday, November 20, 2015 in her residence. She as the wife of Raymond C. Miller, they were married June 6, 1952 and celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Martha (Brobst) Yoder. She was a member of West Wyomissing Chapel, West Lawn. Doris always enjoyed cooking, crafting, and writing letters to some of her church member friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Glen A. Miller, Brecknock Twp.; a daughter: Sandra D. (Miller) wife of Charles L. Jones, Helfenstein, Schuylkill Co.; and two grandsons: Daniel Jones, and Matthew Jones and his wife Rachel. Doris is also survived by a sister: Pearl (Yoder) Valentine. She was predeceased by a sister: Minerva (Brobst) Schappell, as well as some other siblings.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm from West Wyomissing Chapel, 2055 Reading Blvd., West Lawn, PA 19609. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held Friday from 1:30 to 2:00 pm in the Church. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Leesport is in charge of arrangements.
