Starr L.  Haag (Fetterolf)
Starr L. Haag, 58, of Centre Twp., passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 in Penn State Health St. Joseph. She was taken there from the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., where she resided. She was the wife of David H. Haag.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Richard Kline, Mt. Penn; and the late Joyce (Fetterolf) Raifsnyder. She was a graduate of Kutztown High School; and attended beauty school. Starr worked at Sam's Club for many years as a demonstrator. She enjoyed doing crafts, latch hook and was an amazing cook.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one son: Shawn D. Haag, fiance of Desirae Ransom, Centre Twp.; and two grandchildren: Isaiah and Illiana Rivera. Starr is also survived by two sisters: Karen (Kline) Benne, Fleetwood; and Tammy (Raifsnyder) Kerper, Shoemakersville; two nieces; five nephews; two uncles; one aunt; and many cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Saturday 9:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., at the above address to assist the family with final expenses.
