Obituary for William A. Ebelhar Jr.

William A. Ebelhar, Jr., 76, of West Hamburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. He was the husband of Sherry E. (Fuzer) Ebelhar. They were married on February 24, 1968 and celebrated forty-eight years of marriage.
Born in Honey Brook, he was the son of the late William A. Ebelhar, Sr., and Rosena B. (Todt) Winner. He was predeceased by his step-father: Charles C. Winner. William worked as a forklift operator for SuperValu, Tuckerton, for twenty-five years. He was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. William was also a member of Shoemakersville Fire Company, Goodwill Fire Company, and Loyal Order of Moose #523, Hamburg. He enjoyed trains and delivered flyers for Andy Muller.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one son: Scott W. Ebelhar, husband of Denise (Yerger), Hyde Park; one daughter: Kelly M. (Ebelhar), wife of Steve Schwank, Fleetwood; four grandchildren: James, Ryan, Bryan, and Sean; and five great-grandchildren. William is also survived by a half-brother: Gary Ebelhar, in Canada; and one half-sister: Shirley Ebelhar, Ephrata. He was predeceased by a sister: Barbara J. Ebelhar.
Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Spies Zion Cemetery, Alsace Twp.
