Obituary for Gene A. Simons
Gene A. Simons, 69, of Perry Twp., passed away in his residence on Sunday, October 30, 2016. He was the husband of Maria S. (Soares) Simons.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Mabery G. and Shirley G. (Blessing) Simons. Gene was a graduate of Prince Tech High School in Hartford. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Gene worked as an electrician.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters: Tammy, Carli, Gabriela and Samantha; two granddaughters; and his siblings: Scott and Susan.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. For online condolences, please visit, www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com.
