Obituary for Randy P. Kepley

Randy P. Kepley, 57, of Hamburg, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in his residence.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Joan M. (Schollenberger) Kepley, Leesburg, Florida; and the late Ronald P. Kepley. He last worked as a courier. Randy was a volunteer firefighter for thirty-five years for Union Fire Company No. 1, Hamburg. He was also a lieutenant for the Hamburg Fire Police. Randy was very active in the fire company and always willing to volunteer with fire company events. He was a life member of Schuylkill Fire Company and beneficial association, Reading. Randy enjoyed collecting firefighter memorabilia and especially enjoyed fishing. He always had a smile on his face.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children: Ryan C. Kepley, and his wife Amanda S. (Lengel) Kepley, Sinking Spring; Sean A. Kepley, fiance of Brittany Sweigart, Hamburg ; and Stephanie M. Kepley, Hamburg; and four grandchildren: Elizabeth, Ethan, Benson and Andrew (on the way). Randy is also survived by three brothers: Russell P. Kepley, and his wife Kim, Laureldale; Rodney P. Kepley, and his wife Debbie, Reading; and Rory P. Kepley, and his wife Lynn, Dauberville.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A viewing will be held in the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
